FableNode development preview: what is available

Try projects, source editing with versioned saves, branch graphs, playtesting, and basic exports. Real-time collaboration, AI, and paid subscriptions remain in development.

FableNode is being built for game writers and narrative teams, connecting scripts, branching stories, and project management. This website is a development preview.

Current preview

You can try email sign-in, workspaces, and project management. Studio provides source editing, a branch graph, diagnostics, and browser-based playtesting. Explicitly saving stores a private source revision. Projects and workspaces require authorized access and are not published as blog articles.

Valid saved revisions can be exported as JSON IR, a source package, and localization CSV. JSON IR needs an engine adapter and is not a ready-to-run game project. A concurrent save conflict preserves your local draft so you can review the remote revision before deciding what to do.

Still in development

Real-time co-editing, AI assistance, automatic recovery, a history-restore interface, and verified Yarn / Ink exports are not open yet. Pricing describes planned offerings. The preview does not accept paid subscriptions or run paid AI tasks. A planned feature shown on the website is not a claim that it is available.

Data and service providers

Supabase provides sign-in and the business database. Cloudflare provides website infrastructure and private R2 storage for saved source. Read the privacy notice and preview use notice for the current scope. Keep your own copy of your work and use content suitable for testing.

This preview helps validate the basic workflows. Further feature and release updates will appear here.
